This might come as a bit of shock, so make sure you are sitting comfortably before you read on... not everyone likes cake! Guests can politely refuse an offer of wedding cake if they are averse to a slab of sponge, but for the bride and groom, it's essential that the wedding day confectionery will be something they enjoy. If either one (or both) are not cake lovers, then an alternative to the traditional offering needs to be found. If you fancy something a little different for your jumbo centrepiece, here are some top unusual wedding cake alternatives, or if you'd prefer a unique twist on the baked classic, take a look at these boho wedding cake ideas.
1. Individual Portions Arranged On A Cupcake Stand

Take anything yummy that can be made into individual portions and arrange in colour-coordinated layers on a beautiful cupcake stand. Cupcakes, fruit pies, meringues, cookies, or a combination of your favourites will be easy to organise and easier to eat.
2. Big Round And Savoury

Stick with the traditional tiered offering, but instead of using sweet sponge of fruit cake, use something savoury instead. Pork pie, pizza, cheese wheels and quiche all work well as they can be made to different sizes, cut into individual portions, and eaten without too much mess. You can combine the 'cake' cutting with the start of the evening buffet opening, or use a jumbo savoury 'cake' to feed your guests for the wedding breakfast.
3. Like A Cake, But Not

If sponge or fruit cakes are too heavy and sweet, try their lightweight but equally tasty cousin, the cheesecake. You can still create a tiered master piece, and even use different flavored cheesecakes to cater for guests preferences. Or for a rustic wedding, consider using jumbo jam tarts, with each layer having a different flavoured jam.
4. A Pile Of Food

In France it is traditional to have a croquembouche at the wedding, a pile of pastry balls, bound together with spun sugar. Emulate this extravagance by piling up any delicious food: shortbread, cookies, chocolate brownies. Anything that can stack without getting irretrievably stuck itself can be used.
5. Lots Of Pots

If you use dozens (possibly hundreds) of uniform clear plastic pots, you can stack them into a tower shape. Alas there will be no cutting involved, but instead your guests can clap and cheer as you stuff each other's faces with a pot of yumminess. The best thing about this wedding cake alternative is that you can fill the pots with whatever you want. Health conscious couples can offer a portion of fruit salad, while sweet-tooth sugar junkies can fill the pots with an array of chocolate, chews and gummy delights. Best of all, this is cheap and easy to do, so you can do-it-yourself or ask a trustworthy bridesmaid to arrange it for you.
6. Food On A Stick

Cut and decorate rounds of polystyrene, to create the layers, then jab in your chosen food on a stick. You can use cakepops, lollipops, or even go retro with cheese and pineapple. If it can be mounted on a stick, then it can be used in this creation. Hide the polystyrene behind clever decorations or wrap it in ribbon.
Hopefully that's given you some food for thought (the audience groans) and inspired you to come up with your own creative wedding cake alternatives.

Good day everyone! I’m Charlton Michael from Dearborn, Michigan, USA. I wish to share with you all about Ghost Champion Hackers. A few months ago, I was putting my money into an online BTC investment plan and I got scammed of about $47,000. I was in debt and financial loss until I came across an article about Ghost Champion Hackers. I reached out to them about my situation and they were able to recover all the funds I had lost to the swindler. I’m full of excitement and thought it would be best to share this news with everyone out there who might be in similar situations. I know how shameful it is to lose money to swindlers but with a good and reliable company such as Ghost Champion Hackers, there is a 100% guarantee your money will be recovered back. Their direct email is ghostchampionwizard@gmail.com
