This autumn, as the temperature drops, we’ll be spending more and more time indoors. Make your home a welcoming and cosy place with our simple and inspiring styling ideas!
1. Create a cosy corner with your favourite blankets and cushions. Dim the lights and create soft pools of light with lamps and candles. Make it a relaxing haven that you’ll enjoy coming back to after a long day.
2. If you have an open fire or a wood-burning stove, now's the time to get it ready for the colder weather to come. And even if you don’t have a working fireplace, you can still decorate your hearth or hallway with an inviting basket of logs.
3. Add some charm to your front door with an autumn wreath. Look for designs which include warm, fiery colours, or make your own with berries and greenery you’ve gathered from your garden.
4. Fill a large glass jar with beautiful autumn finds. Our favourites are pinecones, acorns and conkers.

5. Adorn shelves or mantels with small pumpkins. The unusual white varieties look particularly beautiful and they last for several weeks in a cool, dry place.
6. Fairy lights aren’t just for Christmas. Darker evenings are the perfect excuse to string up delicate white twinkly lights. Fill a glass jar with battery powered lights for a warm, comforting glow.

7. Turn autumn leaves into a beautiful garland for your home. Peg them to a simple string, or thread together with a needle and cotton.
