With Autumn on the way, the warm colour palettes, hearty, seasonal veg and cosy wardrobe essentials all start to come out. Halloween goodies creep on to shelves and pumpkins of all shapes and sizes become regulars again on supermarket shelves.
Of course, we love a good pumpkin carving session. Whether it's a scary, sinister design, or something cute and friendly, it's such a lovely seasonal tradition! Well, lovely and messy. Scooping out those seeds and sinews... All part of the fun!
This year, we'll be taking inspiration from across the pond and celebrating with some delicious pumpkin pie, served with ice cream or creme fraiche. Delicious!
It seems like pumpkin spiced lattes have become the latest autumnal must-have. We're absolutely loving Bluebird Tea Co's pumpkin spiced tea. Not quite as calorific or milky as a latte, but spicy and autumnal nonetheless.
We also love a bit of roasted pumpkin, perhaps in a risotto or as a side to a nice lamb, sprinkled with parmesan. So many ways to enjoy this seasonal treat. How do you like yours?
